A CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) is a telecommunications equipment used both indoors and outdoors to originate, route, or terminate a communication. The team can provide a combination of services, including data, voice, video, and a host of interactive multimedia applications.
The CPEs are terminal units which associate with telecommunications equipment, located on the subscriber’s or client’s side. And it connects to the communications channel of the provider or bearer of information.

This equipment might include cable or satellite, digital subscriber line (DSL) And also other broadband Internet routers, telephone handsets, VoIP base stations. Or use of other customized hardware by a specific telecommunications service provider.
Generally, telecommunications provider owns CPE, though some customers do select to purchase routers or modems. Leasing or rental arrangements are also common, especially for broadband subscribers or cable television.
Renting or leasing CPE allows telecommunications companies to control more of the method. And protects customers against the cost of upgrades. And also uses technology to interact with their networks.
