  • Review and evaluate requests from engineers, technicians, and managers for system modifications.
  • Estimate expenses for system implementation and operation.
  • To prepare system activity and performance reports.
  • Supervise maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
    Keep updated on changes in industry practices and emerging telecommunications technology, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings, workshops, and participating in professional conferences.
  • To develop, maintain, or implement telecommunications disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Check and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, or compatibility with existing systems.
